HUMANITARIAN CARE FOUNDATION operates s globally, and we understand that prices can fluctuate rapidly due to factors that influence supply, such as natural disasters, crop failures, conflicts, import restrictions, and more. Additionally, we are aware that inflation rates differ from one country to another, making them difficult to forecast. We strive to incorporate these variables when calculating the costs for essential needs like food, medicine, water, and shelter. Our approach involves using average costs derived from real-life examples across various regions, programs, contexts, and countries. Here are some examples:
A donation of $10 can assist a woman in obtaining essential supplies for the safe delivery of her baby. A contribution of $20 can supply medicine for one child suffering from severe malnutrition. With $30, you can equip a family of five with hygiene products that will meet their basic needs for an entire month. A gift of $40 can ensure that a family of five has enough food to last them for one month. For $60, you can fund textbooks for a nursing student who will deliver vital care to their community. A donation of $70 can provide a family with a goat, serving as a source of nutrition and income. With $120, you can supply a refugee family of four with mattresses and blankets for comfort. By contributing $180, you can facilitate emergency water trucking for communities affected by drought.
The majority of our donors prefer that their contributions be allocated to areas of greatest need, thereby enabling HUMANITARIAN CARE FOUNDATION to utilize resources with maximum efficiency. HUMANITARIAN CARE FOUNDATION’s financial statements are publicly accessible. Ninety percent of the funds expended are directed toward programmatic activities, while the remaining ten percent are allocated to administrative and fundraising costs. We adhere to the most rigorous accounting and financial standards.

Response activation is determined by specific criteria, including the magnitude and urgency of the emergency, as well as the availability and sufficiency of both local and international response capabilities. As a humanitarian organization committed to political neutrality, our primary objective is to save the lives of all individuals affected by crises. To achieve this, we continuously monitor global developments in real time to anticipate, geolocate, and assess risks, corroborating each alert through coordination with our field teams. Upon the occurrence of an emergency, we are fully prepared to initiate a response. Additionally, we invest in the development of technical tools aimed at enhancing decision-making processes and operational effectiveness during response activities.
Our organization comprises multidisciplinary teams of professionals who possess specialized training and extensive experience in various emergency scenarios and contexts. These teams are prepared for rapid deployment to any location worldwide within a 48-hour timeframe.
Upon arrival in the area affected by the emergency, our teams promptly conduct a comprehensive market analysis to assess the local economic conditions. This approach reflects our firm commitment to supporting the local market; whenever feasible, we procure emergency response supplies within the affected context. This process involves a meticulous evaluation of market availability to identify accessible resources while preventing the depletion of local supplies.
In countries where Action Against Hunger operates, we maintain formal agreements with select suppliers to ensure the provision of necessary materials. In instances where local procurement is unfeasible, we import supplies from strategically located warehouses around the world to serve various regions. Following acquisition, our logistics specialists collaborate closely with all relevant stakeholders, including local authorities and partner organizations, to facilitate the delivery of supplies to the most remote and vulnerable populations.
Our teams assist farmers in crop replanting, facilitate the restoration of access to clean water and healthcare for families, and work to rehabilitate livelihoods to enable the resumption of local economic activities. This approach ensures that communities sustain their recovery well beyond the conclusion of immediate emergency interventions.
Our approach begins with comprehensive needs assessments and the identification of geographic regions and demographic groups at heightened risk, such as children, pregnant women, the elderly, and displaced households. Humanitarian assistance is provided through meticulous coordination with all relevant stakeholders and in partnership with local entities, facilitating the mitigation of access constraints and ensuring that resources are allocated directly to the most vulnerable populations. Additionally, we implement monitoring and accountability mechanisms to oversee the distribution process, prevent duplication or misappropriation of aid, and enable adaptive responses in accordance with evolving circumstances.
Delivering humanitarian assistance in regions affected by emergencies, including abrupt escalations of conflict and natural disasters, presents significant complexities. Humanitarian organizations encounter security threats to both personnel and beneficiaries, alongside limited access resulting from active hostilities or damage to infrastructure. Despite these obstacles, our teams remain dedicated to providing essential, life-saving aid at the forefront of crises, upholding principles of neutrality, accountability, and safety throughout their operations.
