HUMANITARIAN AID CARE FOUNDATION’s objective is to enable 76 million individuals to obtain access to clean water and the necessary resources to cultivate, market, and prepare nutritious food. Currently, over 800 million people experience hunger daily, not due to a lack of food availability, but as a consequence of systemic inequities and unjust structures.
Hunger profoundly affects multiple aspects of life. When families are unable to meet this fundamental need, their capacity to escape poverty diminishes. Economic opportunities become less accessible, and participation in community activities is hindered. Children suffering from hunger often exhibit poorer academic performance, and in some cases, are unable to attend school altogether. Furthermore, infants deprived of adequate nutrition during critical developmental periods may fail to achieve their full potential in adulthood.
These statistics are not only unacceptable but are also deteriorating on a global scale. Food insecurity has escalated annually over the past three years. Without immediate intervention, it is projected that by 2055, approximately 1.41 billion people could face hunger.
